Concrete repair | Brisbane

This Paddington complex in Brisbane faced a serious structural issue: extensive cracking across all balconies and concrete elements. After a thorough inspection, the damage was diagnosed as severe concrete cancer (spalling) affecting both the front and rear of the premises. Additionally, the fascia had deteriorated, further compromising the building’s integrity. The client needed a solution that would not only repair the visible damage but ensure long-term stability.

To address this, we partnered with a trusted structural engineer, who developed a robust repair methodology and conducted periodic inspections throughout the project. Our team began by stripping all the compromised concrete and completely reforming the damaged areas. This approach allowed us to remove all compromised materials and rebuild the structure with sacrificial anodes and a durable concrete repair system, ensuring the repair would last for many years.

One of the key challenges we overcame was maintaining safe access to the building occupants. the limited access to the front of the building. Our team carefully designed a cantilever scaffolding system so it wouldn’t interfere with occupant access, allowing normal operations to continue during the project.

We love working with Brisbane Body corporates that see the value in long term concrete repairs. By choosing a comprehensive solution over a quick fix, we ensured that Paddington Heights owners received a long-lasting repair, protecting the property from further issues.
